Key Staff Members Dr. Joe Welch, President, is the founder of Syndics Research Corporation. Joe has over 25 years experience in the research industry, and served on the graduate business faculties of the University of Dallas and the University of North Texas. He is an experienced focus group moderator and has moderated more than 2,000 groups. Also, he has published two books, Marketing Law and Sales Force Management, and dozens of articles in professional magazines and journals. David Cooper, Principal, has over 17 years of experience in the research industry with his education in Marketing, Statistics, and Design Technology. With years of experience in healthcare research, new product development, and customer satisfaction research, his experience includes advanced analytical designs such as Conjoint, Segmentation, and Regression utilizing on-line and standard methodologies. David is our lead manager of all healthcare research. Paul Varner, Principal, has over 17 years of experience in the marketing research industry, conducting over 500 research studies in more than 15 industries. His education includes a BA Marketing from the University of Texas (Austin) and a MS Marketing Research from the University of Texas (Arlington). Paul’s research experience includes employee satisfaction, customer satisfaction, tracking, advertising evaluation, brand evaluation, new product development, segmentation, price sensitivity, sales/revenue analysis, attitudes/ awareness/usage, and online research. Paul has significant experience with advanced research methods including chaid, cluster, conjoint, correlation, discriminant, factor, price sensitivity, and regression analysis. Mark Teich, Manager of Quality Control, has more than 12 years of experience in management of market research data collection. Mark has his MBA in Marketing from University of North Texas and has provided project coordination for hundreds of market research campaigns. He has direct management experience with more than 250 data collection employees, as well as experience at every stage of market research campaigns, from inception to evaluation. Peggy Tinsley, Accounting and Data Collection Specialist, has over 25 years of experience in business accounting, marketing research data collection, and data entry. Peggy attended the University if Texas at Arlington and has specialized data collection experience with computer based data entry platforms including ABTAB and StatPac. She is also responsible for account receivables and account payables.
